Now see this is why I put down one of my wishes as “seeing the future”!!!
I honestly don’t know to be honest. There are some great psychologists on here doing such amazing work and my mind has been so preoccupied with all the questions there’s no time to even think of winning!
While it would be great to win I am also just happy taking part either way. The other scientists have done a fantastic job answering your great (and sometimes tricky!) questions, and it is nice to work alongside them!
I’d be happy to win but I am really just enjoying the chats and questions. I think it’s a great selection of scientists, I’m sure each will be a good choice 🙂
Tricky question, who knows? Well, if I win, it would be lovely. However, I think just being part of I’m a scientist has been fun. I have loved to answer the questions and looking forward to the interactions with the young scientists who will be our future!!
I really don’t know. I’m not trying to predict whether I’m going to win, just do my best. In fact, there is a popular idea that the brain is a ‘prediction engine’ – I think this idea is wrong – how useful is prediction for a situation like this? It’s more important that I focus on what I would like to say and how I would like to answer your questions, how to get across what I value, etc. This is all about me trying to control things as best I can. So the brain is a purposeful ‘living control system’. ‘Prediction’ is for people who stand aside whilst others get things done!
hmm…I think we are all enjoying the moments to share our thoughts and knowledge with you guys more than aiming to win…To be honest, the questions you ask also allow us to use some time to reflect on what, how and why we are doing it.
