I have yes (once or twice). Lucid dreaming is where you become self aware in a dream and become aware you are dreaming. It is thought of as a hybrid state between Rapid Eye Movement (REM) sleep and wakefulness. It typically happens the most towards the end of the night as that is when you get the most REM sleep (and your sleep is generally the shallowest). REM sleep is also when you have the most dreams. As such wakefulness and dreaming merge more easily. A lot of people really like lucid dreaming (making themselves fly etc!) and it is possible, through certain techniques, to actually improve the chances that you have one.

As to the second part of your question, yes I also dream a lot. Generally speaking even people who can’t remember their dreams usually have them and a lack of recall is usually an issue with memory. You can dream at all points in your sleep cycle, and it is rare to find people who don’t dream in some form or another. Just remembering them is the tricky bit!

I dream a lot- A LOT. I’ve had every cliche dream in the book: falling down stairs, teeth falling out, running from something scary and it feels like your legs are powering through sludge. I’ve had dreams I’ve woken up to and very clearly remembered. Even more than that I’ve woken up and felt like I remember parts of it in the first few minutes and then it slowly begins to disappear. I can’t even imagine the number of time I probably had a very interesting dream and woke up not remembering any of it.
As for lucid dreaming I think I have maybe 2 or 3 times! Super rare though.

I always envied people who could dream lucid – I rarely even remember my dreams and most certainly don’t recall lucid dreaming.. 🙁
