• Question: What is arguably the most vital part of your brain and why?

      Heh, it’s a good question. All parts of the brain are important. Different types of information enter our senses, then need to be selected from all the noise that surrounds it and transformed, and matched with the contents of the memory so that we can identify what that information is and then react to the source that provided it. I think that attentional skills are particularly important for all these functions, from “seeing” to recognition, and so I’d say, if pressed – areas in the frontal cortex and parietal cortex are most important. 🙂
