Hmmm very good question – I hope I can pass on the best info!
So I’m a bit biased towards my institution. I’ve had such an amazing experience at the University of Manchester. I’ve been here for over six years, took their undergraduate psychology degree, and now I teach on this same degree! The professors are very down to earth and willing to help students through all sorts of struggles, and the university really takes care of their own. Their psychology programme is very well ranked and the uni is also a Russel Group uni which means it’s part of an exclusive group of UK universities that meet the standard for some cutting edge research.
There’s lots of support to help you through your degree and the university itself is incredibly fun. And Manchester is a wonderful city!.
As for jobs, psychology is known to have a LOT of transferable skills, meaning that what you learn from a psychology degree can be applied to lots of other jobs. People can use a psychology degree in business roles like a market research analyst, in human resources and management, in education as a teacher, in law, as a professors, academic or researcher- the possibilities are really endless!
