Hi, thank you for the question. I often worry that we increasingly live in a society where sleep is viewed as both inconvenient and disposable rather than the important biological drive (like hunger) that it really is. I see it all the time in stressed out students, busy friends and my fellow colleagues. I think people underestimate how important sleep is, particularly in the west, so yes I think more sleep (or respect for sleep) is a good idea! Also, in terms of world peace, maybe a good nights sleep would make people a little less grumpy…
