Question: have you got any close relatives that have dementia?

Yes. My grandmother on my mom’s side has dementia. Specifically, Alzheimer’s Disease. I think it’s been about six or seven years now since we first noticed the symptoms. But, because we caught it early we were able to get her help and the dementia has progressed very slowly. She’s still pretty independent and functioning fine 🙂
