Hi Crunchy, yet another great question. As a sleep researcher who explores memory my first impulse is to say: get some good sleep! It plays a vital role in preparing your memory for future use. This is definitely not the only way to improve your memory though as sleep is more to do with memory processing and not how to get information into your brain in the first place. Improving your memory will depend on you as an individual and your own learning style (different things will work for different people). You might want to use things such a cue cards (cards with a point or fact on each) or mind maps to help you study. Generally speaking if you are really want to learn something though try and genuinely understand it, don’t just rely on learning a bunch of associated facts and recalling them. Practice is key, and the more you learn, better you will get at it.
