• Question: What is the best way to get a good nights sleep?

      Hi thanks for the question. Sleep is really important and I worry a lot of people view it as an annoying inconvenience rather than an important biological drive (like hunger). My tips for good sleep would be: 1. Don’t eat food right before bed time, 2. Don’t play computer games right before bed, 3. Stay off your phone in bed, and turn your phone’s ‘night mode’ on so when it gets dark it gives off less blue light, 4. Try and only use your bedroom for snoozing, and 5. keep a consistent routine. This last point is probably taken care for you as you have to get up for school at the same time every day! All these tips are collectively known as ‘sleep hygiene’ and more people should do it.
