So I’m based in Manchester, at the University of Manchester. I have a shared office in one of the buildings on campus. Most of my work is done there but for things like collecting data I have to go all around Greater Manchester to people’s houses, community centres, local libraries and also to memory clinics all over.

I am based at Bournemouth University’s Department of Psychology… I am here most of the days. But sometimes I go to the clinic to meet with patients, then for research, I travel to people’s homes to collect data. Sometimes when I need to write, I find a nice cafe where it’s quite, listen to music and work there!

I work at the University of York Psychology Department. I have a lovely view of a brick wall out of my window but I have put a cool lava lamp in my office which makes it a bit more homely.

Typically, on the train, haha 😉 As I said in my bio, I work between 2 universities located in 2 regions of French speaking Switzerland – Lausanne and Sion. I have offices in both cities, and teams in both cities. One place has experts in brain neuroimaging – the other experts in analysing large amounts of data coming from different sources, like anatomic data on the brain, data about brain activity, people’s performance on computer tasks we give them, and their educational test scores, for example. So I’m getting the best of both worlds, even if it’s a little crazy to be on the move all the time 🙂
