Question: why do we blink?

Blinking serves many purposes.
Firstly, it acts as protection. Blinking prevents dust and other stuff landing on your eye and it protects your eyes from over exposure to light.
Secondly, when you blink special oils are spread across your eyes to prevent them from drying out!
