• Question: Why do you study brains instead of any other body part

      Hey,

      That’s a very good question! The way I think about the brain is very much linked to the body – our abilities to recognise objects and act on the environments are all tied to all of the senses that we have – vision, hearing, touch, feeling of one’s body position, etc. etc. So I try to have a very “holistic” (including all parts) approach to learning and education and memory, that consider people’s level of physical activity, hobbies, mental well-being and how to improve those, so that one is ready for taking in new information. So I do care about other body parts, but bearing in mind that controlling them is something that only brains can do 🙂
