      In our evolutionary past our ancestors would have found fatty things harder to find (it’s the same with sugary stuff). We need fat, sugar and protein to survive. This probably influenced how we experience them (i.e. super tasty), because it helped our ancestors survive. Halloumi is a delicious fatty cheese, and we likely experience it as tasty due to our evolutionary history. A problem these days is that resources that were once scarce, like sugar and fat, are in abundance, so try not to eat too much!

      Indeed, as Alex says, our brains absolutely love cheese! And apparently also I never had original haloumi, but those that I tried were nice tasting 😉
